Indo–Kenya Cultural Exchange Program

Participating Schools: Gyan Mandir Public School, India and Kakamega Hill School, Kenya
Objective:
To promote intercultural understanding and global awareness by facilitating meaningful interaction between students of both schools and encouraging collaborative learning beyond geographical boundaries.
Participation:
The exchange program witnessed enthusiastic participation from the following students of Gyan Mandir Public School:
- Ayaansh Nirwan – Class IX A
- Rishika Gupta – Class VII B
- Monika Tiwari – Class VII B
- Pranav Kumar Jha – Class VII B
- Avni Tanwar – Class VII B
Program Highlights:
- Student Interactions:
Students from both schools engaged in meaningful discussions, sharing insights about their school life, traditions, hobbies, and community practices. The interaction encouraged curiosity, confidence, and respectful communication. - Cultural Exchange:
Participants showcased significant aspects of Indian and Kenyan culture, including traditional attire, festivals, music, dance, and local cuisine. The exchange highlighted the rich cultural heritage of both nations. - Leadership and Guidance:
The session was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Principal Ms. Rajesh Bano Preeya, who motivated and encouraged students to actively participate. School leaders from both institutions exchanged greetings and discussed prospective collaborations, including future virtual exchanges and joint student-led projects.
Learning Outcomes:
