A Meaningful Tribute to the Spirit of the Constitution
Gyan Mandir Public School celebrated India’s 77th Republic Day with great pride and patriotic spirit, commemorating the ideals of justice, equality, liberty and unity enshrined in the constitution of India. The morning assembly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and aware citizens.
The programme commenced with the melodious rendition of Vande Mataram, the National Song, which set a dignified and patriotic tone. This was followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Honourable Principal, Ms. Rajesh Bano Preeya. As the Tricolour unfurled, the gathering stood united and respectfully sang the National Anthem.
The celebration continued with a confident and meaningful speech by Yuvraj of Class IXA, who spoke about the importance of Republic Day and highlighted the duties of young citizens in upholding democratic values and contributing positively to the nation’s future.
Adding a creative touch to the programme, Anika of Class VIIIA recited a patriotic poem, beautifully expressing love for the motherland and honouring the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters. The patriotic fervour reached its peak with the soulful rendition of the song ‘Ae Mere Pyare Watan’, which evoked deep emotions and reinforced the spirit of national pride among all present.
In her address, Principal inspired students to respect the constitution not only in words but also through actions. She emphasised the importance of discipline, integrity and social responsibility, urging students to become thoughtful individuals who contribute to the progress and harmony of the nation.

76th Republic Day Celebration (24.01.2025)
Gyan Mandir Public School, Naraina Vihar, New Delhi, came alive with the spirit of patriotism and pride as it celebrated the 76th Republic Day with unparalleled enthusiasm on 24.01.2025. The crisp winter morning was adorned with the colours of the national flag, reflecting the collective dreams and aspirations of a proud and united India. The solemn proceedings began with the ceremonial flag hoisting. The National Tricolor was unfurled with great honour by the revered Principal, Ms. Rajesh Bano Preeya, escorted by the School Coordinator, Mr. D. S. Rawat and Mr. Akhil Maini, PGT Physical Education. As the flag fluttered majestically
against the azure sky, the crowd stood in rapt attention, their hearts swelling with pride. The moment was made even more poignant with the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, a melody that binds every Indian in unison. The cultural programme that followed was a breathtaking tribute to the nation’s glorious history and its values. The talented Gyanodians presented an ethnic extravaganza that included a stirring medley of patriotic songs, each note echoing the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and the resilience of the nation. The students, with their eloquent speeches, paid homage to the architects of the Indian Constitution and reminded the audience of the ideals of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity that define the Republic. The powerful quotations they recited stirred hearts, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. In her heartfelt vote of thanks, the Principal, Ms. Rajesh Bano Preeya, expressed her deep gratitude to all who contributed to making the day a memorable one. Her words resonated with a profound message of unity and the shared responsibility of every individual in shaping a progressive and inclusive India.
