Fit India Poster Making Competition (Saturday, 30/11/2024)
Students from Classes 1 to 5 participated in the Fit India Poster Making Competition on Saturday, 30 November 2024 , organized by Mr. Param and Ms. Kalimun Nisha. The competition aimed to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The students created vibrant posters illustrating activities like yoga, cycling, and healthy eating. Their artwork conveyed messages about the significance of daily fitness routines and overall well-being. The creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the students highlighted their understanding of fitness and healthy living.

Indigenous Games: Kho-Kho and Kabaddi ( Tuesday, 3/12/24 )
In a bid to promote India’s traditional sports, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi were organized for Class 7 students on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 by Mr. Param, Ms. Kalimun Nisha, and Mr. Sumit. The indigenous games were played with great enthusiasm and encouraged students to engage in traditional forms of physical activity. These games tested students’ physical endurance, strategy, and teamwork. The event highlighted the importance of preserving India’s cultural heritage in sports while promoting fitness in an enjoyable and competitive way.

Meditation Session (Wednesday 4/12/2024 )
A Meditation Session was organized for Class 8 students on Wednesday 4th December 2024, led by the school’s yoga teacher, Ms. Beena. The session focused on relaxation, mindfulness, and stress management techniques. Students participated in breathing exercises and meditation, which helped them to relax and rejuvenate mentally. This session underscored the importance of mental well-being alongside physical fitness, helping students understand how mindfulness practices contribute to overall health.
